Two races, two editions
Same route, same camps, same finish line. Choose the full Expedition or the shorter Adventure — in the 2027 or 2028 edition. Everything about the experience is identical; only the dates and the price change between editions.
Expedition — 249 km
The full 249 km in six stages. Long days, big climbs, and the course that has tested some of the best ultra trail runners in the world. For experienced stage racers who came to run hard.
Adventure — 135 km
135 km through the same jungle, the same beaches, the same camps and the same finish line — in shorter daily doses. Demanding, never impossible: the journey of a lifetime for any committed trail runner.

Flexible payment plans
Reserve your spot with a deposit and pay the rest in installments — when we talk, we'll set up a plan that fits you. Your Costa Rica pricing is arranged directly with our team, so it's never posted publicly.
When you're ready, payments are handled securely by WeTravel — our checkout partner. Cards are accepted, and a deposit-plus-installments plan is available so you can spread the cost.
WeTravel also offers optional travel protection through Trawick International right inside the checkout — trip cancellation, interruption, emergency medical and evacuation. Travel insurance is required for the race, so this is a convenient way to arrange it.
Good to know
- All registration deposits are non-refundable.
- Rollover to the following edition applies only to racers who paid in full by November 15th, subject to review and approval by the Race Directors.
- Travel/event insurance is mandatory and is not included in registration fees. Refunds for any situation are claimed through your insurer, not the organization.
- Valid medical insurance is mandatory for all participants and must cover all possible medical, rescue, helicopter evacuation and repatriation costs.
- The gearbox (your main bag) is not provided — bring your own. The organization can source one for a fee on request.
- Massages are not included. Official race photography is available for purchase.
