Payment terms & ways to pay
- A registration deposit secures your slot. The deposit differs by edition — it's shown with that edition's price and confirmed in the secure checkout before you pay.
- The balance is completed on the payment schedule set in the WeTravel checkout, and full payment must be completed before November 15th of the year before the race, for racers and companions alike.
- If slots remain after December 10th, last-minute racers may enter by paying the full amount in a single transfer.
- Transfer and bank fees are not included — please ensure the full amount reaches TCC in Costa Rica.

WeTravel also offers optional travel protection (via Trawick International) right in the checkout — a convenient way to meet the race's mandatory travel-insurance requirement.

Policies & insurance
- All registration deposits are non-refundable.
- Rollover to the following edition applies only to racers who paid in full by November 15th, subject to review and approval by the Race Directors.
- Travel/event insurance is mandatory and is not included in registration fees. Refunds for any situation are claimed through your insurer, not the organization.
- Valid medical insurance is mandatory for all participants and must cover all possible medical, rescue, helicopter evacuation and repatriation costs.
- The gearbox (your main bag) is not provided — bring your own. The organization can source one for a fee on request.
- Massages are not included. Official race photography is available for purchase.
